Letter M Tile – Mosaic Collection (Medium)

Ceramic tile, 10.9 x 5.4 cm. Inspired by Mediterranean trencadís mosaic work, this design surrounds each character with a mosaic of irregular pieces in yellow, red, orange, green and light blue, as if hand-pieced together from ceramic fragments. The result is a sign with far more visual character than a plain outline design. Like the rest of our collections, it works on a modular system: each tile is one character, so you compose the name, address or message by choosing only the pieces you need. Suitable for indoors and outdoors, it withstands sun and rain perfectly on house fronts, mailboxes, entrances to country homes or businesses. The character itself is hand-painted in Spain using the cuerda seca technique, in navy blue with a fine black outline on a white background, with the mosaic border set off by a wavy navy blue line. Available in the full alphabet (including Ñ and Ç), numbers 0 to 9, the Nº symbol, hyphen and blank space. The border tile is also sold on its own. It's fixed with silicone or ceramic adhesive, and a matching wrought iron frame is available separately.
