About this piece
A ceramic bottle from the Alfajar workshop in Málaga, from one of its most distinctive collections. Alfajar’s bottles take their forms from the vessels of ancient Mediterranean cultures, flat, cylindrical, globular, angular or lenticular, and redraw them in a contemporary geometric language.
Each bottle is modelled and cast in a plaster mould, then decorated by hand with underglaze colour, sgraffito and wax resist. No two are alike; yours will be in the same style as the photograph, with its own variations. Signed by its maker.

Dispatch
Pieces in stock are dispatched from Barcelona within 3 working days of your order; nothing ships on weekends or public holidays. Made-to-order pieces are delivered in 6–8 weeks. If anything delays your order, we will write to you.
Shipping
We ship worldwide with NACEX, FedEx and other specialised carriers. Shipping costs depend on the destination, weight and size of your order and are shown at checkout before you pay. We do not deliver to PO boxes. Every piece is packed with protective materials; if the parcel arrives damaged, note it to the carrier and write to us within 24 hours with photos. We will collect the piece at no cost and send a replacement or agree a solution with you.
Taxes and duties
For deliveries within the European Union, prices include VAT. For deliveries outside the EU, and to territories with a special tax regime such as the Canary Islands, prices and shipping do not include import duties, customs fees or local taxes. These are set by the destination country and paid by the recipient, usually to the carrier on delivery.
Returns
You have 14 calendar days from receipt to return a piece, no reason needed. Email online@artescudellers.com, then send it back unused, well protected and, where possible, in its original packaging; return shipping is at your cost. We refund to your original payment method once the piece is back and checked. Made-to-order or personalised pieces cannot be returned, except for a manufacturing defect or transport damage. Orders can be cancelled free of charge until they are dispatched.
Hand-built and hand-painted in Málaga and fired at 1,250 °C, so the decorated surface is completely stable: it does not change when wet or with time. Clean with a dust cloth, dry or wet with water; no cleaning product is needed. The pieces are made as art, but a bowl, plate or tray can be used for food. Pieces glazed inside can hold water; one left unglazed inside seeps a little at the base, so stand it on a small plate. They withstand the weather, so they can live outdoors. Each piece is unique and signed by hand; drawings and glaze finish vary from one to the next.
